Andale Gran Bazar
Andale held their annual Gran Bazar along 5th Avenue in Playa del Carmen today. Anyone in the community can rent a table for $50 pesos and sell their wares. As you’ll see, there was quite a variety of products available.
Shoes & art.
Barbie dolls
These spiffy Tote le Monde handbags were quite the hit with the Roo girls. Claudiadeplaya, Marissab, and myself all bought one. They are made from recycled plastics in Bolivia. To buy them in Playa, contact Alicia or Melissa at totelemondemx @ gmail . com or 773-573-2495 (Chicago number that will reach them here in Playa).
Cool art prints
The Peanut Pet Shelter table. All proceeds from the donated goods went to the shelter. They had made abut $3,000 pesos when I last checked in with them.
Peanut Pet Shelter T-shirts
Buy Peanut Pet Shelter products online. A portion of each sale goes directly to the shelter.
A couple of street entertainers.
Rollerblading anyone?
This guy Horacio Walls had some beautiful art. He has a studio in the Ejido. Contact him at hme_pwz @ hotmail.com or by phone at 984-134-8353.
I love Playa t-shirts for just $50 pesos.
